(The Spread) – Group F of the 2014 World Cup looks to have a clear frontrunner to emerge as the winner. Here is a look at the odds for this group.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Argentina is the clear favorite to win, as it has odds of -500. The other odds to win are Bosnia-Herzegovina (+600), Nigeria (+1000) and Iran (+4000).
Argentina is a two-time World Cup champion, last winning in 1986. They have reached the quarterfinals in the last two World Cups. 2002 marked the last time Argentina didn’t reach the second round of the World Cup.
Bosnia-Herzegovina is playing in its first World Cup this year. The team has attempted to qualify the last four events, but failed to do so.
Nigeria is playing in its fifth World Cup in its history. The team qualified for the second round of the event in the 1994 and 1998 World Cups.
Iran missed the 2010 World Cup, but qualified this year. The country is playing in the World Cup for the fourth time, but it has never reached the second round of the event.
