Madefromlucky Belmont Odds
ELMONT, NY (The Spread) – One of the freshest horses running in this year’s Belmont Stakes is Madefromlucky, but can he pull off the upset?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, Madefromlucky is currently 12/1 to win the 2015 Belmont Stakes, which takes place this Saturday, June 6. American Pharoah is the favorite at 4/5 odds, while Forested is 5/1 and Materiality is 13/2.
Madefromlucky didn’t compete in the Kentucky Derby or Preakness Stakes, meaning his last race came on May 9 when he beat Conquest Curlinate and Two Weeks Off to win the Grade 2 Peter Pan. He also finished fourth behind American Pharoah, Far Right and Mr. Z in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby on April 11.
While he didn’t win the Grade 2 Rebel, Madefromlucky took second behind American Pharoah on March 14. He’s the offspring of Lookin At Lucky, who finished second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and won the Preakness Stakes in 2010. At 12/1 odds, there’s some value in Madefromlucky.
