Will Power Indy 500 Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – Will Power has never won the Indianapolis 500, but if this year is any indication, it may be time for him to claim his first Indy 500 title.

Power is the current points lead in the IRL standings for this year as he has won three of the four races that have taken place. His worst finish this season is seventh and dating back to last season, he has won five of his last nine events.
According to oddsmakers, Power has been given 6/1 odds to win this year’s Indianapolis 500. Power will start fifth in this year’s race, the same starting spot he had last year when he placed 14th. Power’s best finish in four Indy 500 appearances is fifth and he has never finished worse than 14th.
In the history of the Indy 500, the driver starting in the fifth position has won seven times. The last time this occurred was in 1996. The second starting row has won 18 times, including last year’s winner, who came from the sixth position.
The Indianapolis 500 will take place Sunday, May 27 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway at Noon ET.
