Scott Dixon Indy 500 Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – Scott Dixon knows what it takes to win the Indianapolis 500, but can he find a way to do it again this Sunday?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Dixon has been given 10/1 odds to win this race. He will start in 11h position for Sunday’s race.
Dixon has competed in the Indy 500 11 times in his career and has won the event one time, back in 2008. He has finished in the top 5 five times and runner-up on two occasions.
Dixon is currently fifth in the point standings. He has yet to win a race this season in four attempts, but has two top 5s and his worst finish on the year is 15th.
Dixon is starting 11th on Sunday, which is not one of his best starting positions, but he finished second in 2012 after starting 15th. The 11th position has won the Indy 500 two times, the last time coming in 2001. He will be starting in the fourth row, which has produced six winners in total, including last year’s winner.
The Indianapolis 500 will take place on Sunday, May 25 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway at Noon ET on ABC.
