BALTIMORE, MD (The Spread) - One of the long shots to win Saturday's Preakness Stakes is Oxbow, who is currently 16/1 to win.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, Orb remains the favorite at 10/11, while Departing and Mylute are both 13/2, respectively. Goldencents is 8/1, Governor Charlie and Itsmyluckyday are 10/1, while Will Take Charge is 12/1. As previously mentioned, Oxbow is 16/1 and Titletown Five is 28/1.

Oxbow does have two victories under his belt as he won the Grade III Lecomte on January 19 and also won a Maiden Special Weight on November 25 of last year. In his only other Grade I graded stakes, he finished fourth at the CashCall Futurity on December 15.
Oxbow is a 3-year-old colt that is owned by Bluegrass Hall LLC and trained by D. Wayne Lukas. He was bred in Kentucky and his pedigree is Awesome Again and Tizamazing by Cee's Tizzy.
The 2013 Preakness Stakes takes place on Saturday, May 18 and Pimlico Racecourse. The official post time is set for 6:24PM ET.
