American Idol 11 Updated Odds
(The Spread) – Following the elimination of Shannon Magrane, the odds to win American Idol season 11 have shifted.
Back in early March when the odds were first released, Phillip Phillips was favored to win at 7/2. But the updated odds now have Jessica Sanchez as a 9/4 favorite, after she opened at 4/1 (which put her right behind Phillips in terms of the odds). Phillips is now 3/1 to win American Idol 11.
Hollie Cavanagh has the next best odds at 5/1 while Joshua Ledet is 11/2 and Skylar Laine is 8/1. Colton Dixon is 10/1, while DeAndre Brackensick, Elise Testone and Heejun Han are all 30/1. Erika Van Pelt is currently the long shot at 50/1.

After opening at 7/1, Dixon’s odds have dropped while Testone’s have gone from 8/1 to 30/1. Ledet opened at 9/1 so his odds have improved, while Cavangah has seen her odds climb from 10/1 to 5/1. Magrane, before being eliminated last week, opened at 15/2.
Testone and Van Pelt were each in the Bottom 3 last week, while Jermaine Jones was disqualified from the competition after he failed to disclose his full criminal history prior to the voting rounds commencing. For Van Belt, it was the second time she was in the Bottom 3 in as many weeks while Testone was “saved” two weeks again. Ledet also wound up in the Bottom 3 on March 8.
