2013 F1 Drivers Championship Odds

(TheSpread) – The 2013 Formula 1 Season will get underway next weekend. Here is a look at the odds to win the 2013 Formula 1 Drivers Championship.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Sebastian Vettel is favored to win this year’s title, as he has 3/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Fernando Alonso (11/4) and Jenson Button (13/2).

Vettel has won the F1 Championship the last three years. It was a little tougher road for him last season, but he won four of the last seven races to pick up the title. He has won a total of 21 races in the last three years.

Alonso is a two-time F1 series champion, winning in 2006 and 2005. He has finished second in two of the last three years. He had three race victories last year, one in 2011 and five in 2010.

Button was the last driver other than Vettel to win, as he took the title in 2009. It is his only F1 series championship. In the 2009 season, Vettel won six races to help him get the championship. He has since won a total of eight races in the last three years.
