Song of the Year Odds
LOS ANGELES, CA (TheSpread) – Differing from Album of the Year, which goes to a production team, the 2011 Song of the Year at the Grammys is all about the writers and composers. Here is a look at the odds for this category.
The Song of the Year is pretty competitive this time around as all have odds of +400 or less with the favorite, F*** You by Cee Lo coming in with odds of +175 according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com. Other nominees are Need You Now by Lady Antebellum (+200), The House That Built Me by Miranda Lambert (+250), Love The Way You Lie by Eminem and Rihanna (+400), and Beg, Steal, Or Borrow by LaMontagne And The Pariah Dogs (+400).
Cee Lo is also nominated for Record for the Year for his song F*** You. The song never hit No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts, but did hit No. 1 in three other countries.
Need You Now is up for four singles awards and the album under the same name is up for Album of the Year. The song did hit No. 1 in the U.S. and finished the year at No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary charts.
Eminem is also up for a number of awards for his song and his album. The song hit No. 1 in 22 different countries, including the U.S.
The 2011 Grammy Awards will take place on Feb. 13 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will air live on CBS starting at 8PM ET.
