Women's Short Track Relay Odds
SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – When it comes to the Women’s 3000 meter relay in short track speed skating at the 2014 Olympics, only two teams looks to be in the race.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, South Korea is the favorite to win, as it has 1/2 odds. Other short odds to win are China (2/1).
South Korea brings a very strong team to the relay, as a number of the top contenders in individual races are from the country and they are combining for this relay. South Korea placed third at the 2012 world championship, but didn’t place in 2013.
China won the Olympic gold medal in this event in 2010 and has won the last two world championships. China is the perennial power in this event, but South Korea appears to be fielding a strong team.
The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics begin on Thursday, Feb. 6 and run through Sunday, Feb. 23 in Sochi, Russia. For a look at the odds to win gold in Women’s 3000m Relay in short track speed skating at the event, see blow.
