Women's 15km Individual Odds


SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – The Women’s Individual biathlon race at the 2014 Olympics should be one of the most competitive in the sport. Here is a look at the odds to win gold.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Tora Berger is the favorite to win the gold, as she has 5/4 odds. Other short odds to win are Darya Domracheva (3/1) and Gabriela Soukalova (11/2).

Berger competes for Norway. She won the Olympic gold medal in this event back in 2010 and has also won the world championship in the race in 2012 and 2013.

Domracheva competes for Belarus. She finished with the bronze at the 2010 Olympics in the individual. She hasn’t been able to follow that up with any strong performances in the world championships since.

Soukalova competes for the Czech Republic. She is seeking her first Olympic medal. She has competed in the world championships, but never medaled in this event.
