Men's Halfpipe Olympic Odds
SOCHI, Russia (The Spread) – Shaun White hopes to claim a gold medal in the Men’s Halfpipe at the 2014 Olympics. Here is a look at the odds to win this event.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, White is the clear favorite, as he has 2/5 odds. Other short odds to win are Yuri Podladchikov (6/1) and Danny Davis (7/1).
White has won the last two Olympic gold medals in this event. He also is a seven-time winner of the superpipe at the X Games. He competes for the United States.
Podladchikov competes for Switzerland. He is seeking his first Olympic medal, as he placed fourth at the 2010 Olympics in this event. He won the 2013 world championship in the halfpipe.
Davis competes for the United States and he is appearing in his first Olympic games. He has won individual halfpipe events in the past, but is seeking his first world title.
