The record went 4x Platinum in the United States and topped 17 different international charts. Bon Iver is nominated for the record “Holocene”. Bon Iver has never won a Grammy and the record didn’t perform well in the international charts, it received great critical acclaim by music publications. Katy Perry is nominated for the record “Firework”. Perry has never won a Grammy Award in her career. She is up for two awards this year, both for “Firework”. The record went 5x Platinum and hit the top of 10 international charts. The 2012 Grammy Awards will take place at 8PM ET on Sunday, Feb. 12 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
