MELBOURNE, Australia (TheSpread) – The grand slam events of 2015 get underway in tennis starting on Monday with the Australian Open. Here is a look at the odds to claim this year’s title in men’s singles.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Novak Djokovic is the favorite to win the title this year, as he has 10/11 odds. Other short odds to win are Roger Federer (5/1), Andy Murray (7/1) and Rafael Nadal (8/1). The Australian Open will be held from Jan. 19-Feb. 1 from Melbourne Park.
Djokovic is a four-time Australian Open winner, last claiming the title in 2013. He is a seven-time grand slam event winner and he has reached the semifinals in 17 of his last 18 grand slam events.
Federer is a four-time Australian Open winner, last taking the title in 2010. He has won 17 grand slam events, but his last title came in 2012. He has reached the semifinals the last four Australian Opens.
Murray has never won this event, but he has won two grand-slam events in his career. He has reached at least the quarterfinals in the last five Australian Open.
Nadal won this event back in 2009 and he is a 14-time winner of grand slam events. He won the French Open in 2014 and won two grand slam events in 2013.
