New England is 10-7 against the point spread this season. The Patriots averaged 36.5 ppg on offense while only allowing 17.3 ppg on defense. The Patriots margin of victory is 19.2 points. 11 of the 17 games New England has played in this year have gone over the total number of points set by oddsmakers.

The New England Patriots are 4-1 straight up and against the spread at home against San Diego since 1992. All 5 games since 1992 between the Chargers and Patriots have gone over the total.
