Bettors Say Take Seattle
The only thing dropping faster than the temperature in Wisconsin this weekend is the point spread between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers. The Packers started the week as -9 point spread favorites over the Seahawks, by Saturday afternoon oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog had the Packers listed at -7.
The over/under odds are also showing some late movement. Since opening at 40.5 earlier in the week, the over/under is currently heading north according to Bodog oddsmakers who have it listed at 44 total points.
With just over 55,000 point spread bets being tabulated, our current NFL public betting information shows bettors are giving the nod to the Seahawks to cover the 7 to 9 point spread against the host Packers.
The Green Bay Packers have 12 point spread wins in 2007, the Seahawks have 10. 11 games the Packers have played in have went over the total in 2007, 8 games have went over for Seattle. The Packers are averaging 27.2 points per game this season while the Seahawks are only averaging 25.2.
