FORT WORTH, TX (ATS Consultants) The PGA Tour remains in Texas as the head to the Colonial in Fort Worth for the Crowne Plaza Invitational.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the defending champion is Zach Johnson, who is also a co-favorite with Charl Schwartzel at 14-1. Johnson won his second Colonial last year with a 1-shot win over Jason Dufner. The field is pretty strong but not great as there are just three from the top ten of the FedEx Cup Standings here.

Matt Kuchar 18-1

Kuchar made 16 straight cuts on the PGA Tour and never missed the cut here. This course is made for him. He's 13th in the world rankings and has placed outside the top 10 in six of his last seven tournaments.

Harris English 40-1

English has showed flashes of brilliance this year. He's just 23-years old and is one of the up-and-coming players. His best finish was a tie fifth at last year's Colonial. He is coming off a T17 last week which was hurt by a final round of +4. He's ready to break out and needs to just finish strong.

Longshot:

Angel Cabrera 66-1

Cabrera had a T12 at the Byron Nelson Championship last week and nearly won the Masters. He finished in the top 20 in three of his last five starts overall.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Charl Schwartzel and Zach Johnson are the favorites to win this week’s event, as each has 14/1 odds, while Matt Kuchar has been given 18/1 odds to win.

Johnson is the defending champion of this event and he also won in 2010. Johnson is currently 29^th in the world rankings, but he has placed outside the top 15 in his last 14 events, which includes three missed cuts.

Bae wins Byron Nelson title

IRVING, TX (TheSpread) – Sang-Moon Bae got his first PGA Tour victory on Sunday, coming up the winner of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

Bae shot a 1-under 69 on Sunday to finish at -13 overall, but it wasn’t easy. Bae held a four-shot lead at one point in the final round, but saw that disintegrate with three holes to play. However, he was able to best Keegan Bradley by a shot on No. 16 and No. 17 to pull away for the victory.

Bradley led after every round thanks to a first-round 60, but he came up with a 2-over 72 on Sunday finish the tournament at -11 overall.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Sang-Moon Bae had 100/1 odds to win this event coming into the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $10,000.

Charl Schwartzel looked as if he was going to challenge for the win as well, but he ended up in third at -10 overall after shooting a 2-under 68 on Sunday.

This is the sixth year that the TPC will be the sole host. Last year, the winner was Jason Dufner, who won at -11. There are plenty of hazards to deal with on the 7,166 yards, par 70 layout. Now the weather forecast calls for high winds throughout the weekend. This isn't the greatest field despite the prestige because it comes after The Players Championship, which was won by Tiger Woods last week. Woods is not her but Dufner, the favorite, is.

Jason Day 16-1

Jason Day has made every cut this season. He also won it at the Byron Nelson in 2010 and has top 10s in his other two starts at TPC Four Seasons. He also has a handful of top-10s this year including two third-place finishes including at the Masters. PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – Tiger Woods didn’t dominate on Sunday, but he did enough to pick up a win in THE PLAYERS Championship.

Woods posted a 2-under 70 on Sunday to finish the tournament at -13 overall, two shots ahead of David Lingmerth, Kevin Streelman and Jeff Maggert, who were all -11 overall.

Woods looked to be running away with the tournament, but had a double bogey on the 14^th hole after putting his tee shot in the water. Still, he rebounded and held off the rest of the contenders.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Woods had 7/1 odds to win this event, which means a wager of $100 on him to win will pay out an additional $700.

Sergio Garcia started the day tied for the lead with Woods and Lingmerth, and he was even tied with Woods for the lead entering the 17^th hole. Ernst posted a 2-under 70 on Sunday while many of the other leaders struggled. His 70 was matched by David Lynn, as both finished at -8 for the tournament. In a playoff, Ernst managed to get past Lynn after multiple holes to claim his first PGA victory.
