-Antero Niittymaki, Flyers, stopped 38 shots for his third career shutout, backstopping Philadelphia's 1-0 win over Florida.

Derian Hatcher scored midway through the third period to lift Philadelphia over Florida 1-0 on Sunday for its third straight victory. The Flyers' defenseman notched his second of the season and just his 80th goal in 1,022 career games.

Scott Gomez registered two assists in the New York Rangers' 4-3 overtime win over Montreal on Sunday and now has at least one point in 12 straight games.
