PITTSBURGH (AP) -Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury will be in uniform for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ game at Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon after missing 12 games with a groin injury.
Penguins coach Michel Therrien wouldn’t say Friday if Fleury or Dany Sabourin would start against the Flyers.
Fleury, who helped lead the Penguins to the Stanley Cup finals last season, was 8-3-2 with a 2.86 goals-against average before getting hurt during a 5-2 win against Buffalo on Nov. 15.
Sabourin has made all but two starts since Fleury was hurt and is 6-5-2 with a 2.20 goals-against average this season.
Rookie goalie John Curry, who stopped 24 of 26 shots during a 9-2 rout of the New York Islanders on Thursday night, was returned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday. He went 2-1 in three games, beating the Islanders for both of his victories.
