ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) -The Washington Capitals recalled left wing Chris Bourque from Hershey of the AHL before Tuesday night's game at the Atlanta Thrashers.
Bourque, the son of NHL Hall of Fame member Ray Bourque, was a second-round draft pick in 2004 out of Boston University.
He has three goals and two assists in eight games for Hershey this season, after finishing with 25 goals and 33 assists in 2006-07.
The Capitals were shut out for the second time in three games in a 5-0 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
