COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -The Blue Jackets placed goaltender Pascal Leclaire on injured reserve Monday with a sprained ankle and activated right wing Jared Boll.
Leclaire is 3-3-0 with a 3.41 goals-against average in seven games this season. He left Saturday’s game at Minnesota early in the second period and is expected to be sidelined for at least a week.
Boll, who was on injured reserve, has missed the Blue Jackets’ past five games with head and neck injuries. A year ago in 75 games as a rookie, he led the team and ranked second in the NHL in penalty minutes.
