PITTSBURGH (AP) -Defenseman Mike Weaver signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old Weaver had three goals and six assists in 39 games last season with the Los Angeles Kings, scoring his first NHL goal Feb. 6 against Tampa Bay. Before that, he played 57 games in three seasons with Atlanta, totaling six assists.
