COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -Right wing Jakub Voracek, the Blue Jackets' top draft pick, agreed to a 3-year contract with Columbus.
The 17-year-old Czech was chosen seventh overall pick and will attend the Blue Jackets' prospect camp and preseason training next month before coaches determine if he starts the season in Columbus or in juniors.
Last season, Voracek led Halifax of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with 63 assists and 86 points in 59 games.
