OTTAWA (AP) -The Ottawa Senators and Chris Kelly avoided salary arbitration by agreeing to a $1.26 million, one-year contract Tuesday.
Kelly has spent the past two years in Ottawa, where he made $725,000 last season. He's coming off a season in which he enjoyed career highs with 15 goals and 23 assists.
He had three goals and four assists while playing in all 20 postseason games. He has 25 goals and 43 points in 168 regular-season games.
