CHICAGO (AP) -The Chicago Blackhawks have signed goalie Wade Flaherty and defensemen Jim Fahey and Prestin Ryan.
Flaherty, 39, appeared in 32 games with the Manitoba Moose in the American Hockey League last season, compiling a 17-9-2 record and 2.42 goals against average. He also has played for the San Jose Sharks, New York Islanders, Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Ryan, 27, scored five goals and had 16 assists in 58 games for the Moose. He has appeared in one NHL game with the Vancouver Canucks.
Fahey, 28, split last season between the New Jersey Devils and Lowell in the AHL. He appeared in 13 games for New Jersey and had one assist and two penalty minutes.
