DETROIT (AP) – The Detroit Red Wings have signed center Landon Ferraro to a one-year contract.
The team did not announce terms of the deal Friday.
The 22-year-old Ferraro made his NHL debut for the Red Wings in March. He ended up playing four games with Detroit, averaging 8:58 of ice time.
He also played 70 games with the team’s minor league affiliate in Grand Rapids, scoring 15 goals with 16 assists.
