ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -The Minnesota Wild re-signed backup goalie Josh Harding to a multiyear contract on Wednesday.
Last month, the Wild traded former No. 1 goalie Manny Fernandez to Boston and signed Niklas Backstrom to a three-year deal to take over the starting job next season.
The 23-year-old Harding was 3-2-1 with a 1.16 goals-against average and a .960 save percentage in seven games.
