NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) The Nashville Predators have signed forward Vladislav Kamenev to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The Predators selected Kamenev in the second round with the 42nd overall pick in the 2014 entry draft. The 18-year-old is expected to play his first season in North America in 2015-16.
Kamenev, who is from Orsk, Russia, ranked third among Kontinental Hockey League junior players in goals (six) and tied for fourth in points (10) in 2014-15. He helped Russia earn a silver medal at the 2015 World Junior Championship.
Kamenev is currently attending the Predators’ development camp that ends Saturday.
