EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -The Edmonton Oilers signed unrestricted free-agent goaltender Mathieu Garon to a two-year contract Tuesday.
Garon was 13-10-6 with the Los Angeles Kings last season, with a 2.66 goals-against average and .907 save percentage.
The Oilers were looking for a new backup to starter Dwayne Roloson after deciding not to re-sign Jussi Markkanen.
