FRISCO, Texas (AP) -The Dallas Stars re-signed center Stu Barnes to a one-year deal Thursday worth $900,000.
The 36-year-old Barnes, one of three players to start every game last season for the Stars, has 41 goals and 56 assists for 97 points in 250 games with Dallas, including 13 goals and 12 assists last year. He arrived in Dallas in 2003, in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres.
In 15 NHL seasons, Barnes has scored 249 goals and 325 assists for 574 points.
