OTTAWA (AP) - Jason Spezza will make his much-anticipated return to the Senators on Sunday.
The Ottawa star forward hasn't played since Jan. 27 because of a back injury that required surgery.
Spezza is expected to line up with Milan Michalek and possibly Colin Greening for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series that the Pittsburgh Penguins lead 2-0.
The 29-year-old will immediately add depth to a struggling offense and power play. Spezza had two goals and three assists in just five games during the regular season.
