DETROIT (AP) -Anaheim Ducks forward Chris Kunitz was scratched from the lineup because of an upper-body injury Sunday against Detroit in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals.
Kunitz scored in the series opener Friday night, tying the game early in the third period before the Red Wings went on to win 2-1.
He has one goal and six points in 11 playoff games for the second-seeded Ducks. He scored three times in 16 postseason games last year with Anaheim.
Kunitz scored 25 goals during the regular season and has 101 points in the past two years.
