- Marty Turco, Stars, stopped a franchise-record 61 shots as Dallas defeated San Jose 2-1 in four overtimes.

MOVING ON
Pittsburgh is advancing to the Eastern Conference finals for the first time in seven years after defeating the New York Rangers 3-2 in overtime on Sunday. The Penguins, who rallied after giving up a two-goal lead, won the second-round series 4-1. ... After winning the first three games in the series, Dallas finally knocked out San Jose on the third try with a 2-1 win in four overtimes. The Stars move on to the conference finals for the first time since 2000.

QUAKER STATE
Philadelphia will meet cross-state rival Pittsburgh in the first all-Pennsylvania conference final. The Flyers were the Eastern Conference's worst team last season while the Penguins were the Conference's worst team two years ago. The teams haven't met in the postseason since Philadelphia won a second-round series in 2000 in six games. That series was best remembered for a five-overtime Flyers' win in Game 4.
