DALLAS (AP) -The Dallas Stars signed center Steve Ott to a two-year contract worth $2.85 million on Tuesday night.
The 25-year-old Ott's contract was set to expire after the season. He is signed through the 2009-10 season.
The new deal was announced during Dallas' playoff game against the San Jose Sharks.
Ott scored a career-high 11 goals this season and equaled a career-best with 22 points. Ott, who has 67 points in 273 career games, has two goals in Dallas' playoff run.
