VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -Dallas defenseman Sergei Zubov is out for the Stars in Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night.
Zubov, who leads the Stars in both points and playing time, left Game 6 in Dallas Saturday night with what the team called a ``torso injury.'' He did not practice Sunday or take the morning skate before Monday's game in which Dallas is trying to complete a comeback from a 3-1 series deficit.
In addition to a series-high four assists, Zubov has averaged almost 31 minutes a game and played a big role in keeping the Canucks' top scorers Daniel and Henrik Sedin pointless since Game 1.
Dallas used veteran Jon Klemm for the first time in this series to take Zubov's place. The 37-year-old Klemm has 104 games of playoff experience with Colorado, Chicago and Dallas.
