GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -The Phoenix Coyotes signed Michigan forward Chad Kolarik on Sunday.
Kolarik, 22, was the Coyotes' seventh-round draft pick of the Coyotes in 2004. He had 30 goals and 26 assists this season to help the Wolverines reach the Frozen Four for the 23rd time in school history.
Kolarik was third in the nation in points and fourth in goals.
In 163 career games at Michigan, Kolarik had 78 goals, 96 assists and 131 penalty minutes.
