VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) -The Vancouver Canucks said forward Taylor Pyatt would miss Thursday night’s game against the Edmonton Oilers with a concussion.
Pyatt, who is fourth on the offensively challenged Canucks in goals (16) and points (37), was injured on a hit by Colorado defenseman Jeff Finger in the first period of a 4-2 loss Tuesday night that left Vancouver in ninth place in the Western Conference.
The Canucks recalled forward Jannik Hansen from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL on an emergency basis. The 22-year-old from Denmark has 18 goals and 39 points in 45 AHL games.
