COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -The Columbus Blue Jackets recalled center Zenon Konopka from Syracuse of the AHL on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Konopka has four goals and three assists in 29 career NHL games and played six games with the Blue Jackets in 2006-07. He has 22 goals and 29 assists in 59 games with Syracuse this season.
Columbus also reassigned goalie Dan LaCosta to Syracuse. The 22-year-old LaCosta made his NHL debut at Nashville on March 25. He stopped all five shots he faced in 13:09 minutes. He was 7-2-3 with one shutout in 12 games with Syracuse this season.
