TORONTO (AP) -Toronto Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin will not play Tuesday night against Boston, sidelined for the fifth straight game because of a groin tear.
Sundin skated for about 15 minutes Tuesday morning. The Maple Leafs have won three of four with Sundin out of the lineup to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
Injured Toronto forward Nik Antropov also will sit out, but checking forward Boyd Devereaux will return after missing 15 games with a knee injury.
The Bruins, in the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, enter play four points ahead of Toronto.
