UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) -New York Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro had an MRI on his hip on Tuesday.
It was the same hip DiPietro injured during the skills competition of the All-Star game.
Results of the MRI will be known on Wednesday. Wade Dubielewicz got the start against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night, and Joey MacDonald was recalled from Bridgeport of the American Hockey League to serve as backup.
