TORONTO (AP) -Mats Sundin and Nik Antropov, the Maple Leafs top scorers, will miss Toronto's game Tuesday at the Islanders because of injuries.
Sundin sat out Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres after straining his groin last week. He is day to day.
Toronto plays at Buffalo on Friday and Ottawa on Saturday.
``I'm hoping for the weekend - we'll see how it goes,'' Sundin said.
Antropov played less than 3 minutes against Buffalo on Saturday before leaving in the first period with a knee injury. No timetable has been set for his return.
Sundin leads the Leafs with 77 points (32-45) in 72 games and Antropov is second in team scoring with 52 points (26-56) in 70 games.
