COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -The Columbus Blue Jackets placed left wing Jason Chimera on injured reserve again Monday with a lower body injury, retroactive to Feb. 24.
General manager Scott Howson said Chimera is expected to miss at least one week.
Chimera has eight goals and 13 assists in 44 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has missed 18 games this year, mostly because of a groin injury.
He has 73 goals and 81 assists in 417 career games with Columbus and Edmonton.
