NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -The Nashville Predators have acquired defenseman Denis Grebeshkov (greh-behsh-KAHV) from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a second-round pick in this year’s draft.
Grebeshkov has 19 points, including six goals, in 47 games with the Oilers this season, his third full year in the NHL. He previously played for Los Angeles and the New York Islanders.
Grebeshkov played for Russia in the just-concluded Olympic Games where he had an assist while playing in all four games.
