DETROIT (AP) -Marian Hossa wasn’t on the ice when the Detroit Red Wings finished their game against the San Jose Sharks because of concussion-like symptoms.
For precautionary reasons, he was limited to 10-plus minutes over the first two periods of Wednesday night’s 4-1 win over San Jose.
Detroit coach Mike Babcock said Hossa was fine.
Hossa scored the first goal of the game, giving him a team-leading 34 this season for the defending Stanley Cup champions.
