RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Joey Mormina was sent back to the team's American Hockey League affiliate in Albany, N.Y., on Saturday.
The move came two days after he made his NHL debut during the Hurricanes' 4-2 victory against Pittsburgh. Mormina had four hits in 7:45 of ice time.
