EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) -Edmonton Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray will miss the rest of the season with a left shoulder injury.
He underwent arthroscopic surgery last week after being placed on injured reserve.
Souray has been hampered with shoulder problems since suffering a second-degree sprain during a game at Vancouver last October 13.
He has three goals and seven assists in 26 games.
Souray signed a $27-million, five-year deal with the Oilers last year.
