ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu returned to the lineup on Thursday night after missing eight games because of an injured left shoulder. Koivu was back on the first line, centering Dany Heatley and Devin Setoguchi, in the game against the Vancouver Canucks. Minnesota was 3-4-1 while the center was sidelined. Koivu leads the Wild with 24 assists and is second on the club with 33 points, despite playing in only 41 of the team's 53 games. Minnesota placed defenseman Clayton Stoner on the injured list with an unspecified leg injury. Wild coach Mike Yeo said his status was week to week. |
