ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -Minnesota Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom will miss his fourth straight game.
Backstrom had a back injury last week. Now he’s sick. Team spokesman Ryan Stanzel says Backstrom flew back to Minnesota before the Wild played the Stars in Dallas on Tuesday night.
The Wild will return home to host the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.
Backup Josh Harding has been in the net for the past week, going 2-1 in the last three games. Wade Dubielewicz (DOO’-bah-witz) was recalled from Houston of the AHL as insurance for Tuesday’s game.
