Devils Move On Without Julien

The New Jersey Devils will be making their 10th consecutive playoff appearance, but they won't be doing it under coach Claude Julien.

With general manager Lou Lamoriello taking over behind the bench, the Devils continue their push for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs when they host the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday.

Despite leading the Devils to an Atlantic Division-best 47-24-8 record this season, Julien was fired Monday with a week left in the regular season.

Oddsmakers have made New Jersey -130 money line (NHL Odds) favorites for todays game, the over/under has been set at 5.5 total goals (View NHL Sports Books). Our public betting information

Stars Looking For 5th Straight

A defeat to the St. Louis Blues more than three weeks ago gave the Dallas Stars their longest skid of the season. They have done very little losing since.

The Stars go for their season high-tying fifth straight victory when they host the Blues on Monday.

Dallas (48-24-6) lost 5-3 to the Blues (32-33-13) on March 8 for its fourth straight defeat, but since then has rebounded to go 10-1-1 over its last 12 games.

Oddsmakers have made Dallas -315 money line (NHL Odds) favorites for todays game, the over/under has been set at 5 total goals (View NHL Sports Books). Our public betting information shows that 74% of bets for this game have been placed on Dallas

Montreal Goes For Sixth

As hot as the Montreal Canadiens have been, they certainly can't afford to cool off now.

Part of a crowded mix at the bottom of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, Montreal goes for a season-high sixth consecutive victory as it meets the Ottawa Senators on Friday.

The Canadiens have won five in a row for the second time this season - they haven't won six straight since late last season - to move into a tie for seventh place in the East standings. However, Montreal (40-31-6) is among six teams within three points of each other for the conference's final three playoff spots.

Oddsmakers have made Ottawa -230 money line (NHL Odds) favorites for todays game, the over/under has been set at 6.5 total

Nashville (49-21-7) is coming off two straight wins over Edmonton to take hold of the West's best record with five games left to play.

Oddsmakers have made Nashville -145 money line (NHL Odds) favorites for todays game, the over/under has been set at 5.5 total goals (View NHL Sports Books). Our public betting information shows that 82% of bets for this game have been placed on Detroit

Ducks Look For Win in Chicago

While the Anaheim Ducks are looking to finish at the top of the Western Conference standings, the Chicago Blackhawks want to avoid ending up at the bottom.

The Ducks resume their chase of the conference's top seed and look to avoid a fourth straight road loss when they visit the Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

This visit to the United Center appears to be well-timed for the Ducks (44-20-12), hoping to reduce their deficit on Nashville and Detroit in the conference race while extending their lead over Dallas and San Jose in the Pacific Division.

Oddsmakers have made Anaheim -230 money line (NHL Odds) favorites for todays game, the over/under has been set at 5.5 total
