Where's the offense?

Looking to bolster their offense, the New York Rangers committed more than $80 million this offseason to sign free-agent centers Chris Drury and Scott Gomez. The early season struggles of the pair, however, have contributed to the Rangers being in last place with the lowest goal total in the NHL.

With Drury and Gomez off to slow starts and fellow center Martin Straka lost to injury, the Rangers (2-4-1) face a tough task when they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins (4-3-0) on Tuesday.

Wild Streak

The Minnesota Wild were tied for the second-most home wins in the NHL last season, and they've continued to enjoy that advantage early in 2007-08.

In a matchup of Northwest Division rivals, the Wild look to remain undefeated at the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday when they welcome the Colorado Avalanche, who are still looking for their first road victory of the season.
