Streaking On

If the Detroit Red Wings are to record the longest winning streak in franchise history Sunday, they'll have to beat the team that has given them the most trouble this season.
The Red Wings' mastery of most opponents this season has not included the Chicago Blackhawks - a team they have otherwise dominated this decade - and that is the Central Division rival they must defeat to post a club-record 10th straight win. |

Stars Head West

The Dallas Stars look to close out a four-game road trip against Pacific Division rivals with three victories when they meet the Los Angeles Kings on Friday.
Dallas (7-7-2) is in the midst of playing six straight games within its division, splitting the first four contests. The Stars' two wins in that span, though, have come on this trip - 5-0 over Anaheim and 3-1 at San Jose. |

Will The Streak Continue?

The Detroit Red Wings have been a fixture near the top of the Western Conference in recent years. The improving Columbus Blue Jackets, meanwhile, are getting used to those surroundings.
